Plea to the CM!
Tamilnadu CM Jayalalitha has been admitted in the apollo hospital, chennai. Apollo is a private hospital and it is believed to be one of the best hospitals and even the late former CM MG.Ramachandran was also admitted in  the Apollo. Why do I tell this or some may even think that I endorse Apollo but for me this news reminds me about something that took place in Malaysia.

One of the longest served Malaysian PM was diagnosed with a heart problem. In Malaysia the medical system is fully government owned and they just have to pay 1Ringgit(17rs) for their treatments however serious the case maybe. The PM he was admitted in the Kuala lumpur hospital where heart facilities were not available and without anyother option the PM was forced to be airlifted to Singapore for further medical aid. The PM got cured and he came back to Malaysia. Followed by this, the first thing he did after his resuming his office is that, he ordered the authorities to construct a big multispeciality heart hospital in Kuala lumpur and to recurit heart specialists as well. Now the hospital stands tall in KL, Malaysia.

In India maybe providing free medical facilities for a huge population maynt be possible (for it to prevail corruption should be completely eradicate corruption) but the least that our government can do is to provide standard medical facilities. Nevertheless by standard I mean a hospital is standardized only if the hospitals are ready to be made use of by the CMs and the PMs. Only if they do this and the CM gets admitted in a government hospital instead of a private hospital, equality interms of medical aid can be achieved. Till then the richer will be the privileged class and the poor will loose a life for the mistake made by the government. This is also to insist the CM for raising the standards. The irony is that even the Secretariat turned hospital willnt reach atleast half the facilities available in private hospitals.
